Government Response to Recommendations from the Challenge Advisory Panel from February 2010

This Government Response refers to Panel advice and recommendations as outlined in the Summary Report for the February 19, 2010, meeting of the Challenge Advisory Panel.

Response to Panel advice and recommendations

There were no formal recommendations brought forth by the Panel during the February 2010 meeting. However, modifications were made to the draft screening assessment reports for certain Batch 9 substances following the February 2010 meeting, consistent with suggestions by Panel members.

In particular, language was clarified in the draft screening assessment reports for the substances  PEDA (CAS # 41556-26-7),  Solvent Red 49 (CAS # 509-34-2),  methyl eugenol (CAS # 93-15-2), and  vanadium oxide (CAS # 1314-62-1). These modifications addressed specific suggestions from the Panel as detailed in the Summary Report.
